How Neighborhoods Live On in Memory: Traces, Testimony, and the Work of Remembering
Former residents and descendants of families who once lived in New York Streets contributed oral histories, photographs, and heirlooms to this exhibit. Though the neighborhood was demolished in the 1950s, its history lives on through their stories in this exhibit and beyond.
