Nick Haddad is a Boston native who grew up in the South End but who has family roots in the South Cove or “Little Syria” neighborhood. All four of his grandparents immigrated from Lebanon between (approximately) 1895 and 1910. Nick's first visit to Lebanon was in 2018, after he was contacted by a cousin who found him on Facebook and invited him to visit the 500 year old family home in Barouk. He has made several return visits since then. Nick is a retired educator who has a BS in Structural Engineering from Tufts University and an MS in Education from Wheelock College. He has two adult children and three grandsons.
