A comprehensive portrait of the students and faculty attending 1931 graduation ceremonies of the Quong Kow Chinese School at 18 Oxford Street. The school was founded in 1916 by the Chinese Merchants Association to promote Chinese language and heritage; the schoolchildren pictured reflect the growing number of Chinese families in Boston during the 1920s.
